ArtsGeorgia’s approach to advocacy and activism resulted in a collaboration with ETChster who developed a valuable app as a tool to find public art in our state. The new Georgia Public Art Finder app is highlighted as a resource on the ArtsGeorgia PLACES statewide directory of the non-profit and for-profit arts industry in Georgia. Using iOS, Android and embedded web elements, the Georgia Public Art Finder app simultaneously provides a free platform for artists and curators to share information about Georgia’s amazing artists and their work via map and search capabilities while also delivering an advocacy action you can easily use within the app.
